This page is dedicated to my favorite Pokemon, Lugia. Here, you can get lots of info on him.
The beast of the sea

This site is dedicated to the best Pokemon...Lugia!! Well, maybe he's not the best, but my favorite!! Some people think Lugia sucks, but that is their opinion. Myself, I think everybody is entitled to their OWN opinoins, so if you hate Lugia, leave Aeroblast now. Lugia is made up of spades of cuteness and strength. Here is info on Lugia.

Listen, I know what you're thinking; "Why does she love stupid Lugia? Why not Typhlosion or Tyranitar?" It's clear that he isn't the best Pokemon, but I love him anyway, and he's too cute to give up. He's also one of the strongest and most formidable Pokemon characters in battle. He serves well against Fighting, Poison, Ground and Fire Pokemon as he can learn Psychic, Flying and Water moves. I view Lugia as not just a dual-type Pokemon, but a triple-type. Since Lugia's automatic types are Psychic and Flying, that makes him extremely strong. Not only that, he can learn the best Water and Ice moves. Thus be the first reason I view him as Water Pokie as well as Psy. Also, when I saw Revelation Lugia, I observed that Lugia spends most of its time underwater like Mew did in Mewtwo Strikes Back. I figured that if the bird likes water enought to live in it for all eternity, why not dub him Psychic/Flying/Water? In a way, my theory is untrue, but anything is possible if you believe.
Also, Lugia can look really devilish at times. In some of the pictures you'll see of him, the artis drew him to have "the devil made me do it" written all over them. That's another reason. When you look at a Lugia, you'd laugh because they look like they're up to something. I mean, the way the illustrator drew his eyes makes him look so deathly demonic!! Just imgane: A Lugia with a Pitchfork and little Devil horns, wearing a red cape that says "TRUST me."

In Pokemon Silver Version, the Pokemon version I own, my two Lugia are very accurate. When Kamon is paralyzed, he uses an attack anyway, without the "Kamon is fully paralyzed" garbage. While Lugia's moves don't effect their weaknesses a lot, you can teach them Water moves and Flying moves to back up the Psychic power. Lucida the shiny Lugia has the move Aeroblast (hence this page's name), which does a great deal of damage to Water Types, Fire Types and Grass Types -- she can down all of Cal's Pokemon in one hit now. My Lugia duo can easily knock out a decently leveled Tyranitar, Meganium, Ho-oh, Typhlosion or Feraligatr flawlessly. It sounds impossible, but true. My Lugia are both on level 100. Kamon was traded from my friend Hundera when I was only at Cherrygrove City, and was level 40 as a result of a glitch in Hundera's Gold (it was supposed to be about Level 60.) I raised Kamon up by very few levels for a while, as it takes a lot of EXP points to level up a high level Pokemon. By the time I had finished battling Jasmine (Kamon nearly got knocked out by her Magnemite, as it is part Flying and Flying is weak against electricity), Kamon was my best Pokemon, even thought all my others were level 60s while he was still around 52. When I went through the Whirl Islands to find my game's Lugia, I leveled up Kamon many times. By the time I found the other Lugia, Kamon had gone from 52 to 78. To my astonishment, the Lugia that I was SUPPOSED to have caught in Silver turned out to be shiny. I captured it by freezing it with Icy Wind and got its health to the red zone, then used my only Great Ball and relied on pure luck. I captured the Pokemon, whom I named Lucida -- and thus I was inspired to write about them in my upcoming Pokemon Story, Kamikaze Kamon.
