Moon Stone Cubone

It was a nice sunny day at Celadon City, people trading Pokemons and such. But someone was up to no good --you bet it was Team Rocket! I had been staying at Celadon Hotel for the night. I woke up and went to hunt for a Kadabra. The minute I exited the hotel, Jr. Trainer (girl) ran at me and demanded a Pokemon fight. She sent out a Starmie!
"Go! Char!" I yelled to my Charizard. "Charrr, Charizard!!" He yelped as he shot flames at Starmie."Starmie, Starmie!" It hollered and fainted.
"Jiggly, Jiggly, Jigglypuff!" a little Jigglypuff stared wide eyed at Char. "Jigglypuff!" It sang. Char fell asleep! I pulled my Abra named Knuckles out of a Pokeball.
"C'mon Knuckles! Use flash!" I said. A blinding flash lit the area and the Jigglypuff clutched its eyes. I switched Pokemons and now Bidu (my other Abra) was at hand. Bidu used submission on the Jigglypuff and it fainted.
"Doh!" said Jr. Trainer. "You beat me!!" and for winning, I got 1472 dollars! And then I continued on my way to... "Woah! Bidu! Knuckles! you're evolving!" I gazed down at the two Abras as they evolved into... Kadabras!! Kadabras were what I was searching for in the first place!
I ran to Vermillion City to visit Misty, my friend who I'd even battled Pokemons with before. Like always, she was up in her room, except I didn't see her Cubone anywhere.
"Hi, Ash." she said in a sad voice.
"What's wrong, Misty? Where's Cubone?" I asked. "Cubone's gone... forever. "He's gone?" I asked.
"Gone." Misty said, nodding her head. Like I said at the beginning, Team Rocket was up to no good, so no wonder Cubone was missing! We hurried to Celadon City and sneaked into Team Rocket's hideout. I busted down the door.
"Where's the Cubone?!?!" I yelled at James, the leader of Team Rocket. "Hey, kid! get outta here before someone discovers us!" "Hand over the Cubone, then!" "Never!" "Oh police...All right all ready!"
"He tried to escape! So we shot him with a silenced PP7!" the leader shouted.
"You mean.. "then I was interrupted by Misty.
"Noooo! You shot my Cubone!?" Misty cried.
"Yes, we shot the thing, kid! So go away and leave us alone!!\"
"Not until I at least see Cubone for the last time!" she yelled.
"He's down in the basement..." he pointed it out to us. "But you won't like what you see!" As we inched down the stairs, we heard Pokemons hollering. They were all in cages. It all made sense now. Youngster's stolen Bulbasaur. Lass's missing Riachu. The Scyther that disappeared from my rival, Gary. They were all here (and all starving to death, too!) Then we spotted Cubone, dead in a cage. (So that's what was stinking up the entire basement!)
Misty looked away. I freed all the trapped Pokemons and a Meowth needed some help up the stairs. All the Pokemons ran away and trampled Team Rocket. The cops charged in the room and found Team Rocket in pain.
"Kids, we've been tryin' to catch these Pokemon killers for years! Thanx for your help! Here's a Moon Stone for your reward!"
There was no time to thank the guy. (well, at least not for Misty!) Misty ran back home to Vermillion City. She jumped onto her bed and cried.
"I know how you feel, Misty. I felt the same way when Growlithe died."
Misty looked at me and started crying even more.
Great move, Ash! I thought. I knew I had only made things worse. I sat down on the bed next to Misty and started to cry, too.
"I remember... when Cubone would curl up on my bed during the night, And his snore always woke me up.\'94 Misty said.
"Yeah. and how when I slept over, Cubone would lick me and beg for my food. " I sobbed.
"And," Misty added, "whenever I hugged him he would squeal, 'Cubone, bone, bone!'"Misty said smiling slightly. "And when I came home from Trainer School, he would meet me at the door and jump into my arms." she said.
Then we were interrupted by a shuffling noise. A Marrowak darted into the room and grinned. "By the great horn spoon, It's Cubone's evolved form!" I shouted.
Misty lifted up the young Marrowak and hugged it.
"Marrowak, marrow, marrow Marrowak!" It squealed.
"A chip off the old block you are, a chip off the old block!" Misty giggled.
We both remembered Cubone. The Cubone would always be with us. Always.
