A lesson learned...
You wake up in your house, a home in the trees just outside Cherrygrove City. It takes a minute for your eyes to adjust, but once they do, you see Mega Raichu and Mega Ampharos watching you from above. You smile happily and hold up the Raichu.
"Hey Rai!! I got you a --" you are interrupted.
"YOU got me a 3,000 dollar fine, MM." he replies, smacking the Raichu from your hand. You reel back.
"But...but...I got you the Raichu you wanted..." you reply in a small voice. Mega Raichu rolls his eyes.
"AND lost me my life's salary?" Rai replies.
"Why all that fuss over a silly doll, MM?" Mega Ampharos asks.
"I just wanted to get you guys what you wanted...I thought I could start by getting Rai his present." you timidly answer.
"It's not about presents, MM. It's about being with your family and friends."
"I know that..." you reply. Mega Dragonie bursts in. She is looking very ticked off.
"WHAT IS THIS ABOUT ME HAVING TO PAY 3,000 DOLLARS TO A STORE?!!" She demands. Rai and Amphie point to you.
"Um..." you groan.
"MM? So it's true?" Drag asks. "You busted up a store just for a silly doll?"
"Yeah!! My thoughts exactly!!" Amphie agrees.
Mega Charizard and Mega Suicune enter.
"Sigh...money gained is money taken by the bank." Mega Charizard groans.
"And you all have Mega Mewtwo here to thank." Rai sighs, looking cross.
"No duh." Mega Suicune accuses, narrowing her eyes at you.
"I'm sorry..." you apologize.
"Sorries don't work NOW, MM. You owe us. BIG TIME." Rai firmly presses on you.
"Don't be so mean. She just wanted to get us presents." Amphie tells Rai.
"But she HAS wreaked a lot of havoc." Chari groans. Mega Magikarp appears.
"Oy!! Guys, check out who's on TV!!" he infers. You stiffen. You have no trouble guessing who is on the tube.
The television shows a ruined store with Pok�mon still pouring out of it, and water bursting from the windows. The reporter is talking about you and how you've caused Jhoto much greif during Christmas.
"MEGA MEWTWO..." Rai moans, turning red with anger. You lower your face.
"I just wanted everyone to be happy on Christmas." you imply.
"Yeah!! We're overjoyed!!" Chop Sui shouts. "WE have to pay our life's savings. Thanks."
"You've ruined Christmas, MM. There's nothing more to say." Rai adds. You get up and start to go outside. Mega Ampharos stands up.
"MM...wait for me!!" she calls.
"Stay here, Amphie." Drag commands her.
"Aww...." Amphie mutters.
