"Ash, go to sleep" said Brock. You have a big day tommorow.

"Yeah I know. Im going to face the Elite Four!" I replied. "But I cant sleep, something is keeping me up". Then I heard footsteps from the back, and a young man appeared out of the darkness. He had spiky brown hair, a green cape, and around his neck he wore a pendant with a dragon on it.

"Still up?" the boy said. "You should rest if you plan on defeating me, which I doubt you can".

"You must be Lance from the Elite Four!" I yelled excitedly.

"Thats right. Come out of the dark so I can see your face." As my face appeared under the light I saw a look of shock, and awe on Lances face. "You are THE ONE!!" Lance said.

"The one what?" I asked.

"Come with me." Lance said. �Your friends can stay here, this is only for you.� I left with Lance to the basement, where I saw a huge door with a diamond/ruby pokeball on it. Lance put his pendant inside the hole in the pokeball and the door opened. I saw a huge crystallized palace. The door closed behind us. "Look Ash." said Lance. "This is the pokegod palace. Explore what you will". First I saw many paintings on the wall. They were labeled "Charcolt", "Sapusaur", "Rainer", etc. They were all magnificent pokemon. I saw many doors. I went through one and I saw a huge ceramic statue of Agatha. Her eyes glowed with a mystical purple. Around her I saw many things. Two gastlys were flying around a purple pole with a pokeball on top, a haunter was holding two energy orbs in his hands, and a Gengar shadow rotated around the room. But the greatest sight was that of a crystal statue. It was of a pokemon similar to Gengar, but it had more spikes, longer arms, and a longer body. Under the statue was the inscription "Spooky". "Ash, you must follow me to the Trainers hall." Lance said. I did, and I saw 14 statues. First there was a stone statue of Brock with his Onix. Then a blue marble statue of Misty standing in a pool, with water shooting out of her mouth. She was beside her Starmie. Then a metal statue of Lieutentenant Surge and Raichu with electricity flowing through it. "Ash, do you remember how you risked losing the Rainbow Badge to save Erika�s Gloom?" Lance said.

"How do you know that?!" I asked.

"I hear many things." He pointed to a bush cut to look like Erika hugging her Gloom. After that I looked at a floating statue of Sabrina and Alakazam. "You freed Sabrina from the bonds of her psychic abilities.� said Lance. After that there was a wood statue of Blaine on his Rapidash. The statue was burning, but it wasnt burning down. "Ash, you helped Giovanni to find a life away from crime." I looked at the ceramic statue of Giovanni and Rhydon. Then I walked by the statues of the Elite four and saw two statues. One was of Gary, and one was of....

"ME?" I asked in shock.

"Gary is the champion now." said Lance.

"Oh great!" i said.

"But you are destined to defeat him, and catch the pokemon that will be called the king of Dragons. That pokemon is Dragoton". The word Dragoton echoed through the room, and two glowing eyes appeared.

I said "This must be Dragoton! Charizard go!"

"CHAAARRRRR!" Charizard shot a flamethrower at Dragoton, but it went right through him! Dragoton charged up a green beam, and shot it at him. That beam, was the only other Dragon attack � Dragon Force. This might attack always does 200 damage, and it knocked Charizard to the floor.

"Bulbasaur, Go, Vine Whip!"

"BULBASAAUURR!" Bulbasaur hit him, but it didnt leave a mark. Dragoton shot a Hyper Beam at Bulbasaur, and he flew back several feet.

"Pikachu go, Thundershock!"

"PIIKKKKAAAA!" Pikachu shocked, Dragoton, leaving a few burns. Dragoton wraped Pikachu with it tail. "PIKKAAA" Pikachu screamed.

"Pikachu, Thunder!" Pikachu charged up Thunder, and it paralyzed Dragoton. Ash threw a pokeball, but it couldnt catch him. "Here" Lance said. "This will do the job". Ash threw the Ultra Ball and it caught Dragoton. "YEAH! I CAUGHT DRAGOTON!" Ash yelled. Ash checked hs Pokedex. It read: "Dragoton: This Ghost/Dragon pokemon was believed never to exist, although many Middle Age legends derive from this ghostly dragon. It is extremely strong, and it is believed that only the future Pokemon League champion will be able to catch it."

"You must fulfill your destiny" Lance said. "You have already caught Dragoton, now you must defeat Gary! Prehaps in another time, we will be allies. But for now I have a title to defend. Now rest up, its 12:00. Youve got some long battles ahead of you."

Review: Nice stuff. Very original, and very good, too. I�ve got some bad news, though....WHEN�S THE SEQUEL FINISHED?? This story is cool, so I bet the sequel would be, too. Or is there a sequel? Grade: A+ Rating: * * * * *
