"Why should we get out of here? We can defeat them!" Shade replied confidently. "No, we can't! They are coming in huge armies to destroy us! They are also bringing a couple rock types they hypnotized." He countered. "Rock types! Shade, you know we can't defeat rock types! They're immune to our attacks!" Shade nodded and we rushed down the tunnel behind Electabuzz. We ran up and down the labyrinth of tunnels. "Hurry! The psychics will be here shortly!" Electabuzz called from ahead. "We're hurrying! Give us a break!" We called in stereo. We finally emerged in Zapdos's room where all the pokmon were assembled. "Are these the last two?" Zapdos asked. "Yes. There are no more pokmon in this Power Plant." A Magneton answered in a robotic voice. "Kazam!" A booming noise echoed from the corridor. "Oh no! They're here!" "Attack warriors!" A war cry sounded from the tunnels and we ran like the world would end. Some of the other Pikachus cried in terror as loud yells echoed from behind us. "Come on!" I shouted to the slower Voltorbs. I ran back and tried to pick one up and help, but it floated towards the front.
"Hey! Hands off mousy!" It scowled at me as it floated away. "Humph!" The rest began floating too. I ran back to my spot, near a panting Shade. "Hurry up!" Someone yelled from in front. We had just been driven from our homes, and we intended to get them back.
Rock Tunnel We kept running until we reached a large field to hide in. We skittered into the grass and lay down, exhausted from our retreat. "What should we do, Zapdos?" I asked our flying leader. "We should get stronger and find allies to help us to defeat the psychics. " The wiser lightning bird answered. "I mean, where will we go? We don't have any shelter or food and most of us are practically dead from the run."
Shade walked up and interrupted our conversation. "Chuchino, come and see this!" I sighed and followed Shade to the edge of the field. "Look." He said simply and pointed to a large dark cave opening. "Wow, what is that?" I asked in wonder. " I think it's the rock tunnel." He replied. " You think we should tell the others?" "Of course we should tell the others!" He yelled, " Going in there could be a matter of life or death!" "O.K. already! Let's tell Zapdos and the others." Shade and I rushed back to the small clearing where many of the recovered pokmon were beginning to debate where to go. "I think we should go south, and train with the water pokmon. They are weak against us!" A Voltorb beeped. "Hey!" I nearly bumped into a panting Pikachu. "Oh, sorry." I said sheepishly as she turned and looked at me. "Hi Chuchino!" "Uh, he he, hi Rosy." I blushed as she smiled at me. "Hehe, Chuchino and Rosy sittin' in a tree, K I S S I N G! First comes love next comes, OUCH!" I gave Shade a punch in the shoulder and a scowl. He toppled over with a dazed look on his face. "Owwww!" He moaned as I stepped on his twitching foot. I gave Rosy a big smile while he moaned louder and louder as I squished his foot into the dirt. Rosy giggled at this. By this point in time, most of the other electric's were staring at us. "Oh, sorry Shade." I stopped squishing his foot and helped him up.
"Humph." He gave me the 'evil eye' and we walked to Zapdos. "Zapdos! We saw the rock tunnel! You think we should take that for training?" Shade asked in a questioning voice. "The rock tunnel! What gave you the idea that we could go down that?! Hello! ROCK Tunnel. Rock pokmon live in there! We would be killed for sure!" "But, Zapdos! The psychics took some of their people! They might help because of that." Rosy added.
"Yeah! I agree with Rosy!" I yelled in agreement." "Rock tunnel! Rock tunnel! Rock tunnel!" Shade started a chant. Soon, most of the electric's were yelling "Rock tunnel! Rock tunnel! Rock tunnel!" " Ah, but, it is not logical to go into the Rock tunnel. It is pitch dark in there and we are weak to rock pokmon. What if they do not help us?" A Magnemite beeped. "We can light the tunnel with Flash and we will have to risk the rocks not helping us." Zapdos ended the argument with a commanding flap of his wing. "We will vote for either, the rock tunnel or the southern beaches. All in favor of the southern beaches, say 'I'" Several Voltorbs, Electrodes and Magnemites beeped 'I' "All in favor of the Rock tunnel?" All the Pikachus, Jolteons, Electabuzzs, Magnetons, and several Voltorbs and Electrodes voiced their opinion for the Rock tunnel. "I guess it's the Rock tunnel then." Zapdos said in finality. "BZZZT!" A Magnemite self-destructed in anger of this decision. " Sore-loser I guess." Shade giggled. "Hehehehe." I also giggled a bit. "Well then, we will rest a while longer and then get going." Zapdos commanded. Shade and I went to a secluded area of grass and started to talk.
"Shade, do you think the rocks will help us?" I asked. "Yeah, I think they will, but just to be sure, let's go train on some Pidgeys or something." "Yeah." We got up and headed deeper into the field. Several minutes later. "What are YOU doing here?" A Pidgey screeched at us. I smiled at him and said simply. "Oh, Shade, would you like your chicken regular or extra crispy?" "Extra crispy! PLEASE!" He giggled. "What?" The Pidgey asked us nervously. "Thundershock!" We both yelled in glee. "BBZZZZTTTTT!!!" "Yooooowwwweeeeee!!!" We zapped that bird into oblivion. "Oops. I think we zapped him too hard. Hehehe." I smirked at the twitching Pidgey. "Oh, who cares Chuchino! That was soo much fun! I've forgotten how fun it is to zap other pokmon!" "Let's go find some more!" "Whoopee!"
27 Pidgeys later, "Ahh, I think I grew some levels." Shade sighed and sat on the ground. "Let me see." I searched my mind for attacks. "Hmm. YES!" "Huh? What?" Shade looked at my happy face. "I learned Slam and Thunderbolt!" "Cool. Let me try." For a minute or two, Shade screwed his face up with a look of complete concentration. "Well?" I asked impatiently. "Cool! I learned Thunder wave and Double kick." "Come on, we better get back to the group or they might leave without us." We lifted our little behinds and ran back to clearing. No one was there. "WHERE IN GOD'S NAME DID EVERYBODY GO???" Shade exclaimed in terror. "Come on! They probably left for the Rock tunnel. We had better hurry if we want to catch up to them." We ran out of the field and in the direction of the tunnel. We arrived just in time to see the last Magnemites enter the dark cave. "WAIT!" We yelled in unison and ran into the tunnel.
Allies or Enemies We bumped into a Magneton as we rushed into the dark cavern. "Oof! Who is that?" I asked. "Chuchino? Is that you?" I heard Zapdos's voice call. "Yeah, it's us!" "Where were you guys? We looked all over!"
"Somebody Flash please! I can't see my own hand in front of my face!" "Okey Dokey!" Someone did a Flash to reveal us in a huge underground cavern. "Ahh!" Zubats soon swarmed us. "Trespassers!" One of them yelled as they zoomed around our heads. "Okay everybody! Combinded Thundershock!" I yelled from our position in the back. "Prepare to die Batty guys!"
BBBBZZZZZZTTTTTTTTT! The cavern lit up with electricity as we shocked those bats. We could see their skeletons. They all fell to the ground with dumbfounded looks on their blind faces. "Hehe. They won't be troubling us anymore." Shade smirked at the sizzling Zubats. "Come on! We have to get moving!" Zapdos called from the front.
Uh, I can't walk another step!" Moaned Shade. "Yes, I believe that we should stop for the night. Let us find a suitable spot." A Magneton beeped. We wearily walked deeper into the gloomy caverns. "Who dares enter the Rock tunnel?" A huge voice roared from the shadows. We shivered in fear. "We only enter here to ask for help." Zapdos answered confidently. "Who are you?" The voice boomed. "We are the electric pokmon from the Power Plant. We were driven out of our homes by the psychics." Zapdos called warily. "The psychics! We welcome you, refugees of the Power Plant!" A large Golem walked out of the shadows. "The psychics invaded us also and they stole some of our people." "Yes! They invaded us with several rock pokmon!" I yelled in excitement. "I am Rock-Jaw, I am second in command of the Revolt of Ground. We are going to lead a revolt against the psychics." While making this little speech he was leading us down a tunnel. He stopped in front of a huge boulder. "Here." The boulder pokmon called out "Ground resistance! Let thee enter!" The large rock quivered and slowly moved out of the way. " Who is it?" A gruff voice asked from the crack of light. "It's Rock-jaw, Silverslash, I've brought some others with me." "Okay boys, open her up!" The gruff voice commanded some other shadows.
"Heave ho!" The boulder slowly moved out of the way to reveal a large Sandslash, standing attention. Two Gravelers stood nearby. "Hello, General, who are these 'others' you have brought with you?" "I have brought the refugees of the Power plant, they were driven out by the psychics. They come seeking help and revenge." "Good work, General, we are needing reinforcements." Silverslash, patted Rock-jaw on the shoulder. "Come this way, Gravel, Slate, find them some quarters." The Sandslash commanded the two Gravelers and walked away with the Golem general. "Come this way." A Graveler on each side of us guided us through a maze of bustling tunnels. "Here, electric's, these will be your quarters until the attack. Please make yourselves at home." The Gravelers pointed us towards a long row of doors and walked back down the corridor. "Come on, Shade! Let's get rooms next to each other!" I raced down the corridor and chose a suitable room. "Here!" I opened the door and walked in.
The room was small and ugly. The stone walls gave it a dungeon like appearance. "Ugh! Who designed this place?" "A Geodude." Shade replied in a disgusted voice. "I guess we'll have to live with it." I said with a sigh. "Wish I had a laptop." I lay down on the grubby cot. "How am I gonna sleep on this?" I grumbled. "Well, see ya in the morning, Chuchino." "Night, Shade." I sighed and rolled around under the dirty sheets. After several hours of restless twisting and turning, I finally fell into a deep sleep.
I dreamed of Rosy, sitting on a platform, with Kadabras standing around her. "Kadabra, kadabra, kadabra" "You will tell us where they are hiding!" "No! I will never tell you! You, scum at the bottom of the sewer!" "How dare you!" "Hypno!" A large golden Hypno yelled something. The air around Rosy was turning black with purple sparks. "Ah! Stop it! Stop!" She screamed in pain and clutched her head. "Hahahahaha." An evil laughter sounded from the darkness around the table, then I woke up. "No! No! Rosy!" I screamed in terror. I sat up in bed, sweating from the nightmare. I heard a bugle sound from outside the room. "Everyone, wake up! Get to Mess Hall!" "What a horrible dream!" I whispered. "I'll feel better after some breakfast." I shivered and hopped out of bed. When I got out of the room, many others were wearily stumbling out of their rooms. "Shade? Where are you?" I asked. "I'm right here, blind little mouse, how did you sleep?" "Uh, not well at all, I had a horrible nightmare about the psychics." "I didn't sleep that well either.
Horrible beds." "Yeah," While we were talking, a Marowak walked up. "I hope you slept well, I am Rawhide, I will be your guide until the attack. First, lets get to the Mess Hall." The Bone keeper turned and brought us to a huge cavern. When I say huge, I mean gigantic! I mean, this cavern must have been at least 200 feet high! "Wow." Shade's eyes widened as he stared up at the ceiling. "Please choose seats and wait for the grace. Then get a plate and choose your meal." Rawhide nodded to a table and we started choosing seats. Shade and I found seats next to each other. Next to us was a Cubone. "Hi! You're refugees from the Power Plant? " He asked. 'Yeah, I'm Shade and this is Chuchino." Shade pointed at me. "I'm Dundee, just recruited for the attack force." We shook hands. "Please be quiet for grace." A large Onix barked. "For what we are about to receive, may the Lord make us truly thankful, Amen." The cavern echoed for a moment and we all sat down. "Come on, you guys, I'll show you to the buff." The little Cubone got up and led us to a long table covered in food." "Mmmmm, cereal."
Shade drooled on my foot. "Stop it! You're drooling on me!" I yelled at him. "Sorry, I couldn't help it!" He apologized and slurped up the drool. "Eew! Gross!" Dundee gave Shade a disgusted look and started down the buff. "OH MY GOD! THEY HAVE CHERRIES!" I grabbed a bowl and filled it to the brim with cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and sliced apple. "Wow, Chuchino, and I thought I was hungry." Dundee looked impressed. "Well, you see, we haven't eaten since we left the Power Plant. You would be hungry too if you hadn't eaten in a day and a half!" Shade explained. "I'll meet you guys back at the table." I picked up my bowl of fruit and ran back to the table. "Oh, how I love cherries." I sat down and dug in. Other ground pokmon looked at me as seeds flew out of the bowl. "Mmmmmm! Yummy! Guzzle. Snarf." A couple minutes later Shade came back with a bowl of cereal, 3 pieces of toast, some strawberries and cream, and a glass of orange juice. "Ahem, I will now commence in guzzle mode, please do not disturb." "Mmmmm! Yummy! Guzzle, snarf!" Shade stuck his nose into the bowl of cereal and well, guzzled. "Um, okaaay." Dundee looked at Shade and gave me a questioning look. I leaned around Shade and answered. "He gets like that sometimes. We're weird if you haven't noticed already." "Yes I did." Dundee gave Shade a weird look and slowly ate some buttered toast. "Next!" Shade put the now empty bowl away and started some toast. Several minutes later he was calmly sipping his orange juice. "Ah, that hit the spot." He leaned back in the chair and let out a HUGE belch.
After our feeding frenzy, Dundee began asking what life in the Power Plant was like. "Well, there were lots of dusty, dimly lit, corridors. Lots of heaps of rubble, and lots of electric pokmon. And that's about it." Shade replied. "No, that's not about it, it was our home. Dundee, how would you feel if you were kicked out of your home and you weren't allowed to go back?" " I would feel really mad, and I would want to get revenge." He said rather thoughtfully. "I got recruited in this because the psychics took my mom. Rawhide is my dad and he has been working on this day and night. He is really sad."
Suddenly, Dundee just broke down. Crying and hiding his face in his arms. "I miss my Mom! The psychics came, and she, she kicked me out of the way and left with them! She kicked me! I will get them! I'll kill those Kadabras and Hypnos and those whatever they are! They don't deserve to be classified as pokmon!" He pounded the table in anger and sadness. "Dundee! Save it for the battle!" A Sandshrew ran up and started comforting the crying Cubone. "I'll get them! I make them pay for the sadness they caused!"
The Training After breakfast, we were called to the main chamber. This was even bigger then the Mess Hall! It could fit at least 20 Onix's! "I'm sorry I broke down like that, guys. It's just, the way she looked at me when she kicked. She looked like she enjoyed it." "It's okay, Dundee. We understand." I answered.
"Attention!" A booming voice sounded from in front of us. On a high platform stood, Rock-jaw, Silverslash, and Rawhide. "Today, we will make an attack strategy. Electrics, go to the room to you're right. Grounds go to the left. Please pay attention to this training, it might save you in this great Revolt." Silverslash saluted us and exited the stage. "Well? Get moving!" Rock-jaw commanded. All of the ground pokmon started moving to the left, while we moved to the right. It resulted in a huge traffic jam of sorts. But, in the end, we made it into the right cave. "Uh, what a jam!" Shade exclaimed. Once everyone was inside, Rawhide walked in and closed the door behind us. He stepped up onto the stage. "You came here seeking help and you will get it. We are revolting against these evil doers because of their atrocious actions. They have taken people's fathers, mothers, wives, husbands, homes, and children to satisfy their power hungry schemes. Do you want revenge?" "Yes!" "Good, then let the training begin. We will train outside the base against Machops and Zubats. Follow me." Rawhide opened the door and motioned for us to follow. We made our way back to the large boulder at the entrance. "Open it please." Rawhide commanded the two Gravelers standing attention. "Yes sir." They slowly pulled the rock out of the way. "Come on, its time for training." We went into the darkness.
About 2 hours later Shade and I were taking a break. "Wow, that Rawhide guy is one determined character." Shade said. "Yeah, I guess he really loved that wife of his." I answered. "How many levels you think you grew?" I asked. "Oh, me? I think maybe 1 or 2, I haven't learned any new attacks." "I think I'm level 32 or something like that cus' I just learned Swift a while ago." " That's enough training, tomorrow we assault the psychics." Rawhide called. We slowly made our way back to the Revolt center. "Uh, I'm ready to go to bed, are you Chuchino?" "Yeah." I said wearily. "Please go to the room you started in for battle instructions and your team mates." I heard Silverslash's gruff voice command.
"Uh, more training stuff, blech." I said in an annoyed voice. "You must appreciate this Chuchino, you will need it against the psychics," Zapdos told me. "Yeah, I know, but it's just so, boring." I replied. We all moved back into the cave. Rawhide once again closed the door behind us. "I hope that you grew several levels because you will need it." He made his way up to the stage. "In battle, you will be fighting in teams to protect each other. You will be in teams of 10 with 5 ground pokmon and 5 electric pokmon. Please listen carefully." "Teams?" I gave Shade a questioning look. He just shrugged and looked back up at Rawhide. "Team 1: Onyx, Dundee, Rye, Quartz, Slasher, Chuchino, Shade, Rosy, Jolter, and Trion. Team2:Marrow, Garder, Sandy, Wheaton, Slate, Pokball, Shockess, Electazap, Black out, Magnemite. Team3:"
He continued reading teams for another 10 minutes. "Shade, we're together." "Yeah, Dundee and Rosy too." "Do not forget which team you are on, it could be a matter of life and death. Now, how to get to a psychic without it teleporting. You have to distract it while someone else sneaks up and attacks. Also watch out for their hypnotizing attacks or you could be turned against us. Get the picture? Any questions?" "Yes! What types of attacks should we use against them?" I asked. "You should keep to you're elemental attacks because they are long range. But you can try to tackle them from behind to disrupt a psychic attack. Anyone else?" "Nope. Good, tomorrow get your breakfast and meet here. I hope you sleep well." The Marowak saluted us with his bone and left the cavern.
The Battle After a large supper of apple dumplings and a bowl of nuts, Shade and I trudged towards our rooms. "You think we'll make it through the battle, Shade?" I asked. "Maybe, maybe not. Who knows not I, let's wait and see." He answered simply. "Here we are, night Shade, see you in the morning." "Yeah, night Chuchino, dream of Rosy, hehehe." He laughed and ran into his room and locked the door. "Oo! He is so annoying sometimes!" I grumbled to myself. I walked into the dirty room and lay down. This time, I fell fast asleep immediately.
I dreamt of battling an Alakazam. It pointed it's spoon at me and shouted. "You will pay for that little rat!" It fired a beam of flashing lights at me. "Noooo! Chuchino!" Rosy screamed as the beam came closer. "Chuchino, get out of the way!" Dundee yelled. "No! I won't let that happen to you!" Shade shouted from nearby and leapt in front of me just as the beam hit. "Shade! No!" My friend fell to the ground. Everything after that happened in slow motion. I stared down and Shade's still form and screamed. "No! Nooooo!" I looked at the smiling Alakazam. I growled and flattened my ears at his smirking face. "Oh no! The little mousy thing is gonna hurt me! I'm sooo scared!" He rolled around on the ground with laughter. I simply said "Die." The Alakazam looked at me. "Huh?" "DIE!!!!!" I screamed and charged him head on. Just before I hit him, I woke up.
"Shade! Wait? Oh my God, I can't take this anymore." I shakily got out of bed and raced to Shade's room. "Shade! Let me in!" I whispered. "Huh? What?" Shade opened the door. "Let me in right now Shade. I have to tell you something." He opened the door wider and let me in. We sat down on the bed. "Shade, I think I predicted the future." "What do you mean 'predicted the future'?" "I mean that I think that during the battle, oh, never mind. It was only a dream." I got up. "Okay, Chuchino, whatever you say." He rolled his eyes and we left the musty room. We walked slowly to the Mess Hall. Only a couple other early risers were there. Including Rosy.
"Oh, um, hi Rosy." I said nervously. Shade smiled at me and opened his mouth. "Chuchino and, OW!" I kicked his shin and started squishing his foot again. "Stop it!" He yelled at me. "Oh, sorry Shade." I smiled at Rosy while Shade hopped around, clutching his foot. "Please do not do that, Chuchino." He gave me a smile. "Thundershock!" He yelled and zapped me. "Aaaacccchhhhh!!!" I bounced around the cavern. "Hehe." Rosy gave Shade a frown.
"Why did ya do that, Shade? The leaders will get mad at us!" "Eh, it was only a small one." "Uh, that felt icky." I stumbled around the cavern with a dumbfounded look on my face. "Uh." I shook off the paralyzed feeling and sat down at a table. "Gringy gringy, umm, oh fart." I mumbled. I got up again and got a bowl of fruit. "I feel like killing an Alakazam."
I said quietly as I ate my berries. "Sorry about that, Chuchino." Shade sat down next to me with some toast and strawberries. "Eh, I forgive you. It's understandable." I answered. We slowly ate our breakfasts and thought about the coming battle. "You think we'll win, Chuchino?" Rosy asked me. "Maybe, I'm not that sure, but we have to be confident or we definitely won't win." I replied while chewing a cherry. Silverslash walked to the front of the cavern. "Please quickly finish your meal and make way to the entrance. We will soon exit the caverns for the battle. Prepare for the coming revolt."
Silverslash saluted us and left the Mess Hall. "Come on, Shade, Rosy, we have to get going." Shade slurped down his remaining orange juice and Rosy chomped down a piece of toast.
"Hey! Dundee! There you are!" Shade yelled. "Hey you guys!" The little Cubone rushed over. "We're on the same team!" He said in an excited voice. "I hope we survive" He said in a discouraged voice. "Don't get like that, Dundee! Think that we have no competition and the enemies are Magikarps! Then it will be easy." Shade encouraged him with a big smile. "Um, okay, the armies of Alakazams are Magikarps" Dundee gave Shade an unbelieving look and we headed to the entrance.
"Team1, assemble!" I heard Rock-jaw's voice from the cavern ahead. "Come on!" I yelled. We rushed to the entrance tunnel. In front of us stood a legion of ground and electric pokmon.
"May I start over, Team1, assemble!" The Golem yelled. An Onix, Ryhorn, Graveler, Sandslash, Voltorb, and a Magneton assembled nearby. "Come on!" I beckoned and we rushed to our team. Rosy, Shade, Dundee, and I stood nearby. "Team2, assemble!" The teams slowly assembled. "Are we all assembled?" Rawhide asked. "Yes, good, well then, lets get going." Silverslash, Rock-jaw, and Rawhide led the way through the darkness of the rock tunnel.
When we exited the darkness and were blinded by the bright light. "Ow! The light! It's too bright!" Shade moaned. "Oo. The mole Jolteon emerges." I smirked at Shade's squinting eyes. "Stop fooling around! We have to get moving!" Rawhide yelled from his position at the front. We stopped and ran back to our places in Team1. Soon we were nearing the Power Plant, our old home. "Shade, look what they've done to it." I pointed at our once beautiful home. It was covered in graffiti. Things like: "Templar wuz here." And "Electrics are cowardly farts." "How dare they!" I heard Zapdos whisper in anger. "Okay, Teams1-5, go and hide in those bushes.
Teams 6-11, go hide behind those boulders. Teams 12-17 go hide in that tall grass. Teams 18-20, come with us." Silverslash commanded and walked towards the Power Plant with Teams 18-20, Rawhide, and Rock-jaw. "Psychics! We are the Revolt of Ground and Thunder! We challenge you!" A large golden Hypno appeared and answered our call. "Ha! You call that an army! We could defeat you the weakest of our troops!
You want battle, you'll get battle. Attack!" He screamed and psychic pokmon flooded out of the gates. "Charge!" Silverslash yelled. "Okay guys, it's time to go!" I said. "Okay, all together now, CHARGE!!!!" The Onix yelled and we charged. We ran out of the bushes strait into a group of Drowzees and Kadabras. "Kill them!" One of the Kadabras yelled and charged. "Ya! Okay thunders, Thunderbolt!" Us electric's stopped and started charging up for one of the ultimate attacks. "PiKa.Chuuuuu!!!!"
"Jolt..eooonnn!" "Magnetoonnnnn!" "VolTorb!" We blasted them good. "Hehehe." I laughed at their twitching forms. One of the Kadabras got up. "Puny electric pokmon, feel the wrath of psychic!" The Kadabra concentrated for a moment then fired a glowing ball of energy at the staring Voltorb.
"Ha!" "Huh?" The Voltorb then exploded. "Ah!" "Die you!" The Sandslash threw a huge boulder at the waiting Kadabra. It stared up. "Uh oh." It gave us the evil eye and was squished into the ground. "Attack!" The next wave of psychics hit. Over the next half an hour we encountered several Hypnos, another group of Drowzees, and some more Kadabras. The only ones left of our group were the Sandslash, the Onix, Dundee, Rosy, Shade, and me. The psychics kept on coming. I looked around and saw other pokmon battling the oncoming psychics. Then a group of Alakazams approached. "Hiya, idiots." They swaggered over and pushed the Sandslash to the ground. "Ready to die?" Shade growled. "No, but you are!" One fired a confusion attack at the wounded Onix. "Ahh!" It screamed as it was flown through the air. It hit the ground with a crash and half it's body cracked to little pieces.
"Goodbye, dear friends, I'll see you sometime, maybe." The Onix then lay down and crumbled into smaller rocks. "You monsters! You killed Onyx! Die!!!" The Sandslash viciously ran up to the culprit and began slashing it in a rage. "You aren't pokmon! You are monsters!" He yelled and slashed it again and again. "Ach! Get this thing off of me!" The Alakazam screeched. The others floated the Sandslash away and he clutched his neck. He gurgled for a moment in mid air and then fell to the ground, strangled to death. "You guys," I whispered to them. "Rosy, Shade, you guys do combinded Thunderbolt and I confuse em' with agility. Dundee, you try to get close enough for a bone club. "Devising a little plan, I see." The, so-called 'leader' laughed at our huddled forms. "Well, guys let's go! Fire at will!" The Alakazam laughed and started a Disable attack. "Okay, Shade, Rosy, start shocking!" My two electric friends started charging up for Thunderbolt. "Okay, Dundee, when I say go, club em'" "Right!" He shouted. "Die!" I yelled and started circling them at super high speeds. "Wha?" "Huh?"
" What the?" The Alakazams looked around for my blurred body, but were unsuccessful. I started running faster and faster until it looked like there were 20 Pikachus circling instead of 1. "Now you guys!" "Cubone!" "Pika!" "Jolt!" Dundee charged the confused Alakazams and started wacking them repeatedly with his club. Rosy and Shade let out a huge thunderbolt and all but one of the Alakazams were fried.
"Ha, I am stronger than those wimps, you won't get past me easily." He said confidently. "Oh? What level are you? Hmm? I bet you're only level 32." I teased him. "You will pay for that little rat!" He pointed his spoon at me and fired a beam of flashing lights. "No! Chuchino!" Rosy screamed as the beam got closer. "Chuchino! Get out of the way!" Dundee yelled. "No! I won't let that happen to you!" Shade shouted from nearby and leapt in front of me just as the beam hit. "Shade! No!" I screamed as his body fell to the ground. It's happening just like in the dream. I flattened my ears and growled at the smiling Alakazam. "Oo, the little mousy thing is gonna hurt me!
I'm sooo scared!" He rolled on the ground with laughter. I simply said. "Die." The Alakazam looked at me. "Huh?" "DIE!!!!!" I screamed and charged him head on. "You killed Shade!!!" I screamed and hit him in the chest. "The Sandslash was right! You are monsters!" I cried in anger and sadness. "Thunder!" I screamed and a column of electricity flew down and he became a pile of dust.
"Shade!" I cried and ran to his limp body. "I gotta say bye, Chuchino, it was wonderful, but, I gotta go." He body shook when he coughed. " Yeah, Shadey man, I'll miss you." I wiped a tear from my face.
"Well then, maybe I'll see you sometime," "Bye, Shade. " He weakly smiled and his eyes closed. "I'll always remember" I whispered.
"Chuchino, he died for you, you truly were best friends and his memory will be cherished." Rosy said through tears. I picked up his limp body and headed back to the bushes we had come from. "May you rest in peace." I said quietly and lay him against a rock. I wiped the tears of my face and hurried back to Rosy and Dundee. "Oof!" I fell down and rubbed my ankle. "Stupid rock!" I turned around and kicked the rock. When I kicked it, my body started to glow with a yellowish light.
"Huh?" I felt my self grow and change. My ears lengthened and my feet grew. My tail lost its spikiness and became long and black. Finally, my fur turned brown, my cheeks turned yellow, and a lightning bolt appeared at the end of my tail. I was now a Raichu, and ready to kick some psychic butt.
"Yahoo!" I yelled and ran back to Rosy and Dundee. "Hey! Who are you?" Dundee asked. "There aren't any Raichus from the Power Plant!" Rosy said in a nervous voice and stood nearer to Dundee. "Duh! It's me! Chuchino!" I rolled my eyes. "Chuchino?" Dundee gave me an unbelieving look. "Yes! It is Chuchino! I would know his voice anywhere!" Rosy yelled in excitement. "Well, are you guys ready to kick some psychic butt?" I asked. "Yeah!" They shouted. "Lets go!" We ran into the battlefield.
20 minutes later, all of the psychics we encountered were either toasted to a crisp or whacked into oblivion. "Hehe." Dundee giggled as I fried a Drowzee. The large golden Hypno appeared on the Power Plant. "You! You! How dare you!" He screamed in fury.
"I will get you! Someday I will get you!" He made a blue aura surround him. Suddenly, he disappeared. I looked at the battlefield. I saw many electrics and grounds wounded or dead on the ground, but the ground was practically covered in psychic bodies. "Yahoo! We won!" I yelled in glee. "We did it!" Rosy shouted. Dundee just did a little dance. "Do a little dance! Make a little love! Get down tonight!"
"The new John Trevolta." I rolled my eyes. I saw the remaining warriors gathering at the center of the field. "Come on." Rosy called and we raced to it. "Good work warriors! We have beaten the psychics and gotten our revenge. Congratulations!" " Silverslash called. "Three cheers for Revolt of Ground and Thunder! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!"
Over the next two months, we cleaned up the Power Plant. We managed to get most of the spray paint off and disposed of the bodies. We gave funerals to the fallen allies. Dundee, Rosy, and I gave Shade a private burial. His grave is in front of the used Thunderstone that I tripped on. "Ha! I bet you can't catch me!" I yelled and raced down the dusty corridor. "Of course I can!" Dundee shouted and raced after me. "Wait for me!" Rosy yelled and ran after Dundee. The poverty has ended and we got back our home.
